As a big island Naxos has an excellent range of hotels in all categories. Most are around Naxos Town (also known as Chora) within easy walking distance of the beaches and tavernas that line the waterfront and the tiny street running back from the harbour. It’s all very authentic and given the supply of rooms and the relatively undiscovered nature of the island prices are reasonable across the board. We work with a wide range of hotels in all categories from 2 star up to 4 star.
OUR 4 STAR PORTFOLIO
Staying upmarket in Naxos normally means you’ll be close to a beach and have amenities available into the bargain. One example would be the Alkyoni Beach Hotel, centrally located but just a short stroll from Agios Georgios beach. MID-RANGE HOTELS
One of the reasons we so love Naxos is that it’s not exactly the most sophisticated island in the Aegean. A large part of its charm is the fact that it still has a lot of mid-range 3 star hotels at good prices. We love the family run Grotta Hotel just above Grotta beach and close to the harbour, and the Xenia Hotel in the middle of town. We have a selection to suit every requirement.
TWO STAR AUTHENTICITY
For us the 2 star Princess Mare hotel is what Greece on a budget is all about. It’s a perfectly respectable and charming place, 2 minutes from Agios Georgios beach and 5 minutes stroll from the town centre. And at these sorts of price what’s not to love.
